Growing up, Adam’s boundless energy led him to dance, which soon transitioned into acting with many of the historic Reading community theatres. In high school, he honed his passion for performing through garage bands and dinner theatre. At Kutztown University, Adam’s theatre studies and transformative mentors deepened his love for stagecraft and sparked a relentless pursuit of performance excellence.

After college, Adam launched a career as a freelance performer, stagehand, and Tech Director while dedicating four years to mastering Alba Emoting, earning his teaching certification under Susana Bloch in Chile. Over his 35+ years as a performer, Adam has focused on the dynamic relationship between performer and audience, making this central to his teaching.

Blending the hard-working ethos of his PA Deitsche roots and a DIY punk sensibility with time-tested traditional theatre techniques, Adam empowers actors to create their own audiences rather than relying solely on conventional theatre institutions. His innovative, no-nonsense approach equips students with the skills to take control of their craft and storytelling.
